UPDATE: Bicyclist identified in Deans Bridge Road accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A bicyclist is recovering in the hospital after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:40 p.m. on Deans Bridge Road near Ridge Road in Augusta.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Dontiez Thomas. Richmond County deputies say Thomas crossed the 3000 block of Deans Bridge Road and into the path of an oncoming sedan.
We're told a woman driving a red Honda Accord hit him as she was heading southbound.
Thomas is said to be in serious but stable condition. They do not believe he has any life-threatening injuries.
Deputies say the bicyclist will most likely be cited for the accident.
