UPDATE: S.C. troopers looking for driver who ran over pedestrian

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Aiken County officials tell News 12 a Gaston man has died after he was run over with a car early Sunday morning.
This comes as troopers are still looking for the driver who didn't stop after the crash.
Monty L. Pettit, 49, died at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Pettit was walking on Highway 302 near Wagener when he was hit by a car.
SCHP MAIT is investigating the crash.
An autopsy performed Sunday morning in Newberry, S.C., revealed Pettit died from blunt force trauma. Toxicology is pending.
