Moped driver taken to hospital after being hit by car

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- News 12 has learned a moped driver has been taken to the hospital after being hit with a car.
This happened Tuesday evening near the intersection of Edgefield Road and Greenland Drive.
There is no word on the extent of the moped driver's injuries at this time. The other motorist is not said to be injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol will be investigating.
