AIKEN, S.C. -- An Aiken County man is dead after a motorcycle crash over the weekend.
Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton says 60-year-old Jerry Siraud died on Old Barnwell Road around 10:47 p.m. Sunday. Carlton says Siraud, who lives on Matties Country Court, was riding south on Old Barnwell Road near Deer Run Road when he went off the road and crashed into a tree.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the fatal accident.
This is Aiken County's 14th deadly crash this year.
