AIKEN, S.C. – Aiken Dept. of Public Safety says there is a major traffic diversion on Laurens Street.

Laurens Street between Park Avenue and South Boundary Ave will be closed until further notice. The bridge there has settled. South Carolina Department of Transportation workers are on the scene assessing the damage.

Drivers should use Whiskey and South Boundary. All Laurens Street traffic will have to continue North on Whiskey Road to Chesterfield Street.
