Injured driver removed from wrecked car in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- One person was taken to the hospital early Tuesday morning after a wreck.
The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. on Edgewood Drive near Rush Street.
We're told one person was pulled out of the vehicle with injuries. It's unclear how badly that person is hurt. We're told the driver went off the right side of the road, crossed over the lanes and hit a tree on the left.
The driver's name has not been released at this time.
