AUGUSTA, Ga. -- No one was injured in an accident involving a Georgia State Patrol trooper and a tractor trailer on Gordon Highway Thursday evening.
The trooper was making a traffic stop when he tried to turn off from Gordon Highway onto Jimmie Dyess Parkway. When he did this, he collided with a logging truck that was turning left.
The accident, which happened around 5:30 p.m., is still under investigation.
