UPDATE: Name of driver released after deadly accident on Peach Orchard Road

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. -- One person is dead after an accident involving a semi truck and sedan on Peach Orchard at Brown Road Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, 27-year-old Gloria Jenkins crossed the center line and crashed head on with the semi around 2 p.m.

Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver is at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
