MCDUFFIE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- One person is dead after a car wreck in McDuffie County.
Michael Robert Thomas Fountain of Thomson crashed at 6:55 a.m. on Saturday.
The Georgia State Patrol says the 24-year-old was traveling west on Augusta Highway in his 2010 Hyundai Elantra when he went across the roadway, left the roadway on the south shoulder and struck a utility pole on the driver's side of the car.
Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in this crash.
