UPDATE: Passenger identified in fatal I-20 accident

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- One person is dead after an accident early Saturday morning.
It happened at 4:30 a.m. on I-20 eastbound near the weigh station at mile marker 186.
Authorities say 27-year-old Christopher Sanmiguel fell asleep behind the wheel, losing control of the car, crashing into the guardrail and then into a metal pole.
Sanmiguel suffered minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
His female passenger, 28-year-old Alaina Kensinger, was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
