2 people injured after car flips in North Augusta

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- Two people were injured, one was trapped, after a car flipped in North Augusta Friday morning.

The car ended up on its side in the parking lot of the Belk shopping center on Knox Road around 10:30 a.m.

One person was trapped in the car, but they were able to get them out and load them into an ambulance along with the other person.

Sgt. Maurice Ransom, North Augusta Department of Public Safety, said that area is a problem area.

The investigation into the cause of accident is ongoing.
