AIKEN S.C. -- A pickup truck ended up in an embankment after a wreck early Wednesday morning and the driver is nowhere to be found.

It happened on mile marker 26 on I-20 in Aiken County around 2:30 a.m.

Our crew on scene says it was difficult for troopers to find the wreckage because it was surrounded by so many trees and shrubs.

When crews found the truck, there was no one inside.

It remains unclear who was driving the vehicle and where that person is.
