UPDATE: 2 deputies involved in 2 separate accidents

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two Richmond County deputies were involved in two separate accidents Tuesday night.

The first accident happened around 7:25 p.m. on the 5000 block of Mike Padgett Highway. An official with the Sheriff's Office says Deputy Alan Alspaugh was off duty when he was involved in an accident with a gray Sable. Both drivers were both taken to Georgia Regents Medical Center. Their injuries were not said to be life threatening.

Deputy Richard Justice was involved in an accident on Tuesday around 7:40 p.m. The Sheriff's Office says Justice hit a curb at the intersection of Pickens and Milledge roads. Justice's injuries were not said to be life threatening. At the time of the accident, he was on duty and headed to a home invasion call.
