AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A portion of Highway 56 (Mike Padgett Highway) will be shut down between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said.

Proctor and Gamble (P&G) will be remodeling new buildings and crews will need to demolish the taller building that faces Highway 56, the Sheriff's Office said. Highway 56 between Marvin Griffin Road and Phinizy Road will be closed for four hours due to the noise and dust that may get in drivers' way.

Avoid the area Saturday morning.
