UPDATE: Boy identified in Jefferson Co. fatal accident

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ga. -- A boy riding his bike was hit and killed on Clarks Mill Road in Jefferson County outside of Louisville.

The victim is 9-year-old Brando Cervantes.

The accident happened Thursday morning right in front of Central Steel Building Systems.

A source told our reporter he was on his way to visit his father when the accident happened.

There is no word on whether any charges have been filed against the driver.
