AIKEN, S.C. -- Two people were sent to the hospital Wednesday night after an accident on U.S. 1 and Robert M. Bell Parkway in Aiken.
Deputies say a semi trailer carrying formaldehyde was traveling east on U.S. 1 and attempted to make a left turn on Robert M. Bell Parkway.
That's when the driver stuck a Honda SUV that was traveling west on Richland Avenue.
The two people in the SUV were sent to the GHSU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The semi trailer did not sustain any damage
The driver of the semi trailer was found to be at fault.
