AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- An accident on I-20 westbound is causing traffic for those in the midst of their evening commute.

Aiken County dispatch said three cars and one tractor trailer were involved in the accident, which sent three people to the hospital. Their injuries are not said to be life threatening.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday and the South Carolina Highway Patrol is working to get in cleared up.
