COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA – Columbia County, in cooperation with Construction Perfected, Inc., wishes to inform the driving public of a temporary road closure for all traffic on Hamilton Road. The temporary road closure will be at the creek crossing, south of Kim Lane. No thru traffic will be able to use Hamilton Road. The road closure will start each day at 8:00 a.m. and remain closed until 6:00 p.m., for approximately two days, starting Thursday morning, April 19, 2007 and continuing until Friday afternoon, April 20, 2007.
The temporary road closure is to allow for the replacement/repair of storm drainage structures on Hamilton Road at the creek crossing. No thru traffic will be able to use Hamilton Road during this time frame each day, until the completion of the work.
Residents with an address range between 600-674 Hamilton Road will only be able to use the Wrightsboro Road end of Hamilton Road for ingress/egress. Residents with an address range between 674-850 Hamilton Road will only be able to use the Old Louisville Road end of Hamilton road for ingress/egress.
