Columbia County, in cooperation with Quality Storm Water Solutions, LLC., wishes to inform the driving public of a temporary road closure with diversion for thru traffic on old Louisville Road, at the new fire station property, between Young Drive and Greenbriar Drive. Weather permitting, the temporary road closure, with diversion, will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 29, 2006.
The temporary road closure is to allow for the installation of a water line across Old Louisville Road that will be serving the site for a fire station, currently under construction, off Old Louisville Road.
Traffic approaching the fire station site on Old Louisville Road from either direction will need to slow down and divert onto the nearest existing driveway for the fire station, travel the length of the parking lot for the fire station, then use the other existing driveway for the fire station to exit back onto Old Louisville Road.
Please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting on this day.
