Saturday, June 30, 2012

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- Martintown Road near Knobcone Road in North Augusta has been reopened following a two-car crash Saturday afternoon.

Three people were transported to the hospital.

Both the Jeep Cherokee and GMC Envoy overturned and struck two utility poles, knocking a transformer off of a pole just after 3 p.m. Saturday.

North Augusta Public Safety officers say portions of the westbound lanes of Martintown Rd were shut down while they cleared the scene.
