3 injured after car overturns on Peach Orchard Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Three passengers were injured after a car overturned on Peach Orchard Road Thursday afternoon.

The driver of a red van allegedly ran a red light and T-boned a Toyota Highlander as the Highlander was coming across the intersection at Peach Orchard and Bobby Jones Expressway. The Highlander overturned.

The passengers in the van were injured. Two of the injured passengers were elderly women and one was a boy.

The passenger of the Highlander is said to be OK, but the driver is said to have broken his wrist.
