TENNILLE, Ga. - The Georgia Department of Transportation is advising motorists in Columbia County that two new traffic signals will be activated in flash mode beginning Wednesday, November 21 at 10:00 am, weather permitting.
The signals are located on State Route 104 (Washington Road) at its intersection with Evans To Locks Road/Home Depot Drive and on State Route 383 at its intersection with Peachtree Road/Home Depot Drive. The signals will flash yellow for motorists traveling on State Route 104 and State Route 383 and flash red for motorist traveling on Evans to Lock and Peachtree Roads.
On Tuesday November 27, 2007 at 10 am, the signals will become operational, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution at these intersections.
