Motorcycle deputy left with minor injuries after wreck

AUGUSTA, Ga.---A Richmond County motorcycle deputy is back home and all right after a wreck on Gordon Highway last night.

The deputy's supervisor says he was attempting to pull over three motorcyclists who were driving recklessly. The motorcyclists took off. While the deputy was pursuing them, a Toyota pulled into his lane, causing him to swerve into a guard rail.

The deputy was taken to MCG to get checked out. He has minor injuries.
