AUGUSTA -- If your commute takes you anywhere near I-20 and Bobby Jones, things are about to get confusing.

That's because the two ramps you've been using for years are going to be shut down starting this weekend.

On Sunday night, two Bobby Jones/I-20 ramps will be closed and that means you'll have to use the Davis Road/Walton Way ramps to get around in many cases.

Crews are reconstructing the ramps to make them safer for you. That means for the next year to year and a half, detour signs will guide you around the construction mess.

Here's how it will work: if you are traveling on Westbound I-20 heading to Westbound Bobby Jones, you'll take the Davis Road exit. Then you'll take Davis Road to Scott Nixon Memorial Drive to get to Bobby Jones.

If you are on eastbound Bobby Jones going to eastbound I-20, you'll take Scott Nixon to Davis Road to reach the interstate.

Signs will be in place to remind you of the changes.
