The Georgia Department of Transportation is advising motorists in Columbia and Richmond Counties that beginning Thursday, October 11, three new traffic signals will be activated in flash mode on Davis Road, weather permitting. The new signals are located at the intersection of Davis Road and Camilla/Toucan Road, Davis Road and Oak Drive, and Davis Road and I-20 on/off ramps.
The signals will flash yellow for motorists traveling on Davis Road and flash red for motorists traveling on Camilla/Toucan Road, Oak Drive, and I-20 on/off ramps.
On Tuesday, October 16, the signals will become fully operational, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution at these intersections.
