1 dead in Allendale Co. wreck

ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- South Carolina troopers say one person is dead after a wreck in Allendale County Monday afternoon.

It happened just after 1 p.m. on Terry Road, which is off Bluff Road.

Troopers say the driver was traveling south on Terry Road, crossed over the center lane, flipped and hit a tree.

They say the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

The victim's identity and the cause of the wreck have not been released.
