Updated: 7:47 PM Some areas in Aiken County are still feeling the effects of the daily downpour that washed out roads and closed streets. The heavily traveled Five Notch Road was closed nearly two weeks, but crews finally opened it back up today.
Updated: 1:34 PM Cherokee drive and the surrounding areas have been seeing the edges of their roads washing away. The two on Cherokee aren't the only ones. Just a few roads down in her neighborhood a hole has closed part of Willow Lane and another has closed part of Lynwood Dr.

Posted: 1:44 PM It happened on Coleman Bridge Road near Ott Dale Drive around 2 a.m. Ricky Marquez Hammonds, 19, was pronounced dead after the car he was riding in left the roadway and struck several trees.
Updated: 5:55 PM Early Friday morning, a 34-year-old man was riding his bike when he was hit and killed on Peach Orchard Road. Robert Holden was riding in an area with limited street lights, no sidewalks and no bike lanes.
