AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The results are in for 20 Butler High School students who were tested for tuberculosis on Monday.
A positive result means the student has been exposed, not that the student actually has TB. If a student tests positive, they will have to take a second test to see if they actually have the disease.
The numbers of the positive tests have not been released at this time. News 12 will keep you updated as those numbers are released.
Butler High School Principal Gregory Thompson is concerned about the 80 students who haven't been tested yet.
"No, this nothing to take lightly, and we're not taking it lightly," he said.
Thompson said they are working to contact those 80 students.
