AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- The soft lockdown at a local elementary school has been lifted after a teacher reported a "trespasser" on school grounds.
It was later revealed that the "trespasser" had dropped off his mother, who is an employee at the school, and was walking home.
School officials say there was no malicious intent.
All of the students are accounted for, and investigators were on the scene making sure everything was safe.
