AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- A group of students from South Aiken High School traveled to Maryland last week to compete in the CyberPatriot National Finals Competition.
The team competed with 11 other teams in the All Services Division and was one of two Navy JROTC teams to compete, the other was Reseda NJROTC from California.
On Friday, they held an awards ceremony and each of the services announced their first place winner -- South Aiken High School’s team was named the winner for the Navy.
Congratulations to Team Mentor Randy Coleman and the NJROTC cadets Sarah Henagan, Jacob Przywara, Mark Reboul, Matt Bauerlin, Adrian Coleman and Josh Livingston.
