AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A vigil is was held Thursday night for a high school student who died after collapsing at Paine College on Wednesday.

The student, 17-year-old Fredricia Rouse, was a member of the Upward Bound Program and was practicing for an upcoming pageant at the school. She was taken to Georgia Regents Health Center, where she later died.

Rouse was a junior at Hephzibah High School.

Coroner Grover Tuten says the autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
