Georgia's tax-free weekend is August 1 and August 2.

Georgia Department of Transportation said it's suspending all major roadway and highway construction to open all lanes during the Georgia tax-free weekend to alleviate stress. The openings will begin at 8 a.m. August 1 through 10 p.m. August 2.
