'Georgia Regents University' recommended as name for 'New U'

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The "New U" might have a new name as early as next week.
News 12 has learned the Georgia Board of Regents has recommended the name "Georgia Regents University" for the consolidated Augusta State University and Georgia Health Sciences University.
This still needs to be approved during the board meeting on Tuesday.
