FORT VALLEY, Ga. -- Funeral plans have been made for the electrician killed in a construction accident last week.

Jevon Maloy's family tells News 12 his service will be in Fort Valley, Ga.

It will be held Tuesday, June 19, at Christian Faith Baptist Church (1735 Highway 341 N, Fort Valley, GA 31030).

A viewing will be held at 1 p.m.

Maloy will then be buried at Magnolia Park in Warner Robbins, Ga.

Maloy was killed last week when he was electrocuted while working on the construction site of a new Richmond County magnet school.

Maloy had been in Augusta and on the job for only days. He had moved from Warner Robbins with his family.

The coroner says Maloy was working on electrical wiring with 122 to 277 volts when he was shocked and fell from an 8-foot ladder. The cause of death was ruled as electrocution.
