EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. -- Edgefield County officially has a new superintendent.
Greg Anderson, the school board's attorney, will be the district's next superintendent.
It came down to two contestants in Tuesday's meeting, Anderson and King Lawrence, who is an administrator for Aiken County schools.
The school board fired former superintendent Mary Rice Crenshaw back in October.
