AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Richmond County Board of Education has decided to keep Dr. Frank Roberson as full-time superintendent.

The board voted unanimously on Tuesday afternoon to stand behind their superintendent.

Roberson has been battling to work a regular schedule after having emergency brain surgery more than a year ago. He started back in December on a limited basis.

Back in May, the school board decided to have his condition reevaluated to see if he could take on more responsibility.
