Aiken Middle teacher wins national award

AIKEN, S.C.---A teacher at Aiken Middle School won a national award for an innovative teaching program.

The ING Unsung Heroes Program recognized Margaret Brown as one of the nation's most creative teachers.

Brown was one of 100 winners who received a $2000 award for her classroom. She'll now compete with other winners for one of the top three prizes: an extra $5000, $10,000, or $25,000.

    I'v meat ms brown in the hall-way. iv also when ms. layton wasnt there sometimes ms. brown would watch my class and she was cool i really hope i c hr again.
