The girl is charged with possession of marijuana and is suspended pending a tribunal.
In Columbia County, a 14-year-old Lakeside High School student was arrested Wednesday morning for having marijuana at school.
Capt. Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff's Office said it happened in gym.
According to the sheriff's office, when a teacher approached the student he dropped a small quantity of marijuana on the floor.
Aiken County school officials continue to tell us they will not be responding to our request to provide you with information on crimes in schools there.

But as a general rule, if it's funded with your taxpayer dollars, you have the right to know what's going on.
