Augusta NAACP President: Issues have "tainted" Charles Smith's capability to lead

Updated: 11/02/2015 - The national NAACP sent a letter saying the "Board of Directors determined that a new election will be conducted," meaning Dr. Charles Smith can run for his old spot. The NAACP Augusta branch says the group does not support having another election but they will do it anyway to put this issue behind them.
