AUGUSTA, Ga. -- After a long campaign season, the final election in Augusta has come to a close.
News 12 has learned Matt Aitken has just conceded to Bill Fennoy in the Augusta Commission District 1 runoff. Aitken was the incumbent.
With all 15 precincts reporting, Fennoy secured a lead of 62 percent (1,699 votes) over Aitken's 37 percent (1,004). A little bit over than 2,700 people voted.
