RCSO finds meth, heroin, ecstasy after high-speed chase

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two men are behind bars after leading Richmond County deputies on a high-speed chase Saturday afternoon.

A police report says 37-year-old Michael Jackson and his passenger 37-year-old Jason Blasingame took off after deputies pulled them over.

The report says the men were driving 90 miles per hour and ran several traffic lights before crashing and overturning twice on Gordon highway.

After the crash, deputies say, they found meth, heroin, ecstasy and other drugs.

Both men face several drug possession charges while the driver Michael Jackson, faces felony fleeing and reckless driving charges.
