Georgia Congressman planning possible run for US Senate

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A U.S. congressman could be making a run for the U.S. Senate.

On Wednesday, Republican Paul Broun is expected to talk about his plan for a possible run for the Senate in 2014.

He's holding a news conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta at 4 p.m.

Rep. Broun has represented Georgia's 10th District since 2007.
