AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- City leaders could vote to take a closer look at an $11 million dollar pitch by Motorola.
Some Augusta Commissioners want a special meeting to look over the plans and others don't. Commissioner Bill Lockett warns his colleagues they could be breaking the law by and not giving other companies the same attention.
A review team could also look into a $2.5 million dollar loan request from the city's housing and development department.
The money is supposed to be used for more revitalization in the Laney Walker area. Officials will vote on these issues Tuesday.
