AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Board of Elections has decided it's setting up hearings for 33 individuals who they say registered fake addresses to vote.
Board of Elections Director Lynn Bailey says 12 of those are registered from vacant lots, while 21 are registered from business/commercial lots.
The Board of Elections will be sending out letters to notify these people of the hearings. Hearings will take place at the next board meeting on Feb. 11.
After the hearings, the board will decide whether or not to keep them on the Richmond County voter list, which is not necessarily permanent.
