Augusta man blames current wife for missing Chevy truck

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A 50-year-old Augusta man told deputies he believes his current wife took his truck from his ex-wife's house.

On Saturday, Joseph Francois told deputies that his Chevy Avalanche was missing from his ex-wife's home. Francois went on to say that he and his current wife are the only one's with a set of keys to the truck.

In the police report, his ex-wife states the truck was stolen while she was away from home at the gym. Richmond County deputies are searching for the truck which also had a handgun inside.
