Augusta City leaders will meet on Tuesday for commission

Augusta, Ga (WRDW)----On Tuesday Augusta Commissioner could approve cleaning up the Riverwalk.

City leaders are considering having Georgia Power prune and cut some trees for about $74,000 at the Riverwalk.

Phase one of tearing down 290 dilapidated properties is also up for a vote.

An increase in salary could be voted on for the Director of Procurement Gerri Sams.

Commissioner Bill Lockett is leading the way to separate the EEO and DBE department.

A charter change like that calls for 8 votes on Tuesday.
