Augusta GA---Sheila Fryer lost her son in the Super Cs nightclub shooting. She says Tuesday's decision to close the popular spot was a step in the right direction. She goes on to say, "To allow teenagers in your club and then serve them alcohol and then you check some people weapons and you don't check some. I mean its just not right, so i think he got exactly what he deserves."

The club's lawyer, Ben Allen calls the decision unfair. He says, "A business owner that has a liqour license, your livelihood can be taken at the whim of the commission because there was no standard articulated as to why the license was revoked."

Reverend Fryer, community activist and cousin to Stedmund Fryer says Tuesday's commission vote sends a message. He says, "This does send a message to all of the clubs from the statements of the sheriff and even from the statements of the commission that this should not be tolerated."

Sherrif Ronnie Strength takes it a step further. He says, "We are not gonna tolerate this type of activity in our community and we have to start somewhere and it was started today."

One thug hang out down......20 or so more to go....All these little hole-in-the-wall trouble spots where thugs hangout need to be closed as well. Kids need more important things to do with their lives than go around shooting people because of gang related stupidity.

I feel yall did the right thing by closing super c's i could'nt party somewhere that I know someone has been killed inside the club but reality of the situation is Augusta itself is off the chain u can walk outside your door and b shot wheather it happens at a club or not what richmond county is failing 2 realize is that young people dont care nomore i feel sorry 4 the victim & his family but beef is beef this man could have been at a resturant, riding down the street, leaving out his door anywhere if it was going 2 happen it could have happened anywhere so why take it out on the club owner security should have been doing thier job but what if it was at a resturant people dont check u walking into a resturant my opion really is just crack down on the gang violence & all the stupidity then we wont have problems like this where young teens are loosing thier life behind where they stay & where thier from.
