AIKEN, S.C.---One lawmaker has decided to run for the South Carolina state Senate seat that was vacated by Tommy Moore Saturday.
State Rep. Bill Clyburn, who currently serves Aiken and Edgefield counties, told News 12 tonight he's been asked to run for the seat and has decided to do it.
Rep. Clyburn has served in the state House since 1995 and is on the Ways and Means Committee. He lives in Aiken and is a public relations consultant.
