To ban smoking, or not to ban smoking. That's what the South Carolina Supreme Court is talking about today.

The judges heard arguments from attorneys for the city of Greenville and owners of bars and restaurants.

One local judge overturned Greenville's ban. Another upheld Sullivan Island's ban.

Any ruling would also affect local bans in other areas, including the unincorporated parts of Aiken County.

A ruling is not expected soon.
