AUGUSTA, Ga.---Another popular night spot is coming under fire by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. This time it's Club Dreams.
The sheriff wants commissioners to consider suspending the club's liquor license.
Club owners were set to go before the Public Service Committee today, but that meeting was canceled. Commissioners did not have enough members there to vote.
The sheriff's office says there have been a number of violations of the noise ordinance and what they call unsafe parking.
"We deny that," said the club's attorney, Leon Larke. "Our clients have every right to operate their business in that area, and that's what they have been doing and will continue to do."
The sheriff's office says they are making no official recommendation, and it's up to commissioners to decide Club Dreams' future.
